“It was all a dream”…

no seriously it was. Back in 2018, our founder and CEO, Marco T Perez, had a vision. With a background in technology and a passion for social connection, he dreamed of starting a creative agency that would reimagine the role of influencers in modern marketing. One night, the name TABOOST came to him in a dream—a blend of the “taboo” reputation influencers were starting to earn, and the strategic “boost” they needed to stand out. And just like that, the idea of our Genie Gang was born.

By 2020, the pandemic had paused our signature in-person events, but our creator community had already grown strong. Pivoting quickly, we turned our focus online—specifically to TikTok.

In late 2021, TABOOST became the first official TikTok Live agency partner in the U.S., helping creators master live streaming and monetize their content. Just a year later, we were tapped again to help launch TikTok Shop in the U.S.—and we’ve been a top-performing partner ever since.

MEET THE CEO

MARCO T PEREZ

With 25+ years experience in technology and marketing, Marco began his professional development by coding at the young age of 12. From there he continued his mastery of all things digital including web development, social networking, digital marketing and entertainment media. Marco has overseen marketing campaigns for dozens of companies, including his own ventures. All of this knowledge and experience has culminated into his life’s work, the social agency, TABOOST.
